Obnova prostoru bývalé měcholupské návsi v Praze 15 pokračuje. Změny se dotýkají nejen podoby parku u hasičárny, ale i citlivého tématu – pietního místa věnovaného obětem válek. Po jeho přesunu na nové místo se nyní řeší celková podoba jeho původního prostoru a úpravy okolní zeleně.

Samotný přesun pomníku do parku u hasičárny byl jedním z nejcitlivějších kroků celé proměny. Nové umístění zůstává velmi blízko původní polohy a vznikl zde důstojný prostor pro připomínku místních obětí válek. Právě tato část projektu připomíná, že pieta je především hodnotou, kterou nelze vyjádřit penězi. Současné vedení radnice má v plánu tyto hodnoty zachovávat a dále kultivovat, aby přinášely poselství i budoucím generacím.

I vzhledem k tomuto důvodu se park u hasičárny proměňuje také směrem k pulzujícímu životu. V plánu je zde vystavět fontány, především pro radost dětem během letních měsíců. Celý proces přitom nezačal projektem na papíře, ale diskusemi s lidmi, kteří v okolí žijí. Právě jejich názory, obavy i připomínky formovaly podobu jednotlivých kroků a velká část společné diskuse se aktuálně soustředí na to, jak dále naložit s místem v ulici Ravennská, odkud se pomník přesunul. Městská část nastínila, že z toho vyplynuly tři možné varianty:

  • Varianta 1: odstranění oplocení, úprava plochy a zatravnění bez zásahu do stávajících dřevin
  • Varianta 2: nové nízké oplocení, úprava plochy a doplnění o pískoviště
  • Varianta 3: nové nízké oplocení, úprava plochy a menší dětské hřiště s pískovištěm a jedním až dvěma herními prvky

Současně se připravují i další úpravy celé lokality. V plánu je doplnění zeleně, nové cesty a chodníky nebo výsadba stromů. Na tyto kroky má ještě letos vzniknout projektová dokumentace, aby bylo možné s realizací začít v příštím roce. V diskuzích ale zaznívají i další podněty od místních, například požadavek na větší dohled městské policie, zajištění průchodu k lékařskému domu nebo bezbariérové úpravy chodníků.

Opozice současnému vedení vyčítá celkovou investici 10 milionů a poukazuje na to, že v místě zatím žádné změny neproběhly. Celkový projekt Ravennská je ale zatím v úplném začátku a aktuálně stále probíhají diskuze o finální podobě.
